The citizenry (and especially members of the government) seem to be incredibly ignorant as to current events and global information. The only international and US news articles published here all seem to be related to the man-caught making-love-to-a chicken genre.

In principle it should be good for Costa Rica but should Costa Rica get invoved in such an unethical scam as selling carbon credits to the don’t give a sh..ts of the world? It would also be interesting to see what a carbon trading contract looks like!
