Immigration says I must transfer $30K a year to have a cedula, my bank says that if you transfer over 10K via a wire transfer it causes additional paperwork and why would anyone take a loan out to buy a farm in Costa Rica? I doing exactly what the system tells me I must do and then it takes 30+ days to get $ transferred because my account is flagged for being a possible criminal. Geesh. You can never really get out of “the system”.
