Price fixing, price gouging at its best. If ICE were to increase its productivity by 40%, making their workers actually DO SOMETHING during working hours and cutting the vast numbers of personnel to a more reasonable level, that would bring prices into a much more affordable range. This month my electric bill doubled, and I don’t dig it.

Cut the Pay of the top 1000 people in ICE the price of Elect would go down.
CR could run all of its Elect. from thermol generation.

Panama has a surplus of electricity as they build a number of hydro projects between 2000 and 2009. Is it rumor or true that Costa Rica sells electricity to Panama at a lower Kilowatt rate than we pay here? Then ICE rakes in the high cost here? Or is that not true.
