Yelling racism (or racial profiling) in cases where it may not exist IS racist. People are frightened of the Ebola virus, understandably, and Somalia is on the country list where Ebola is alive and well. The fact that its population is “black” is irrelevant except that some want to make an issue of it to yell RACISM. TJ- you any relation to Al Sharpton or his ilk? And profiling? How you do you feel getting on a flight with a contingent of mid-eastern garbed in burkas or other concealing garb knowing full well they got through security checks easily so as not to have C.A.I.R. on their asses for profiling? Me, I’m a little worried — and NOT because they are mid-Eastern but because they don’t get screened like so many of us are. Being a minority is a plus these day.
