If the government does not give in to change willingly, others will effectuate change for remuneration - capitalism will ultimately prevail and do what 50 years of embargo could not.If development is done intelligently and enough green spaces are left, Cuba could be the best draw for high-money tourism in the region.  Otherwise, it will be just another overdeveloped tropical tourist trap. They enjoy Cuba stay with a family meet the local women.  Claim the beaches are safe and their money goes a lot farther.   So CR you got some competition a coming  for the tourist dollar..
