LMAO I see the irony. All I said was decriminalize marijuana. Medical marijuana just might happen here. I hope it does. I seen how it helps those in pain. Making a butter spread out of it and how it helped many.

This other guy posting about USA invading CR if they legalize drugs is off his rocker. Obama won’t even stop Iran from developing a nuke , Isis or confront Russia. EH!..

Let make Cocaine legal asap it could be a big business for Costa Rica. The Lutheran are smoking to much weed. MariJuana is a gateway drug meaning its the starter to bad things. Every major anti drug group say people that start smoking Marijuana move to Cocaine,Acid est. Lutheran are even reconized in Costa Rica or by the Costa Rica goverment. If you want to see the US goverment invade Costa Rica like they did Panama make Marijuana legal then US army will be on the ground in Tico land.

100 % of all drug users drank milk and most went to some form of church when they were young! To reduce drug addiction do we need to ban Milk and Churches?

I say decriminalize it immediately. Let out those who are in Prisons for this offense. Make it not a crime for under a certain amount and allow to grow some for their own use.
Some countries have done this one I been researching Ecuador in 2010 did this. Released a lot of those incarcerated for this offense. Congratulation Ecuador. Before that one of the most draconian laws.

Can you imagine the indigenous Talamanca tribe allowed to grow this to support and feed themselves rather than the Police making raids and burning their cash crop. The prison space for the other crimes and dangerous ..

Pres. Solis has no gumption in proposing this I would like to see a few diputados step up. It is about time.

legalizing marijuana is the quickest, best and most profitable course for a poor country with massive MASSIVE financial problems and a huge cost of government… but a pretty darn good and mainly universal health care system and far better than average education system… both underfunded…
legalize it and tax it…. grow it in country, no import, no export… sure, it will be yet another guv bureaucracy, but way more lucrative than trying in vain to get the oligarchy set to pay their fair share… which in CR will NEVER happen… 37 families folks.
