Mr. President you seems like all the rest. Talk budget cuts when in fact I noticed none. What is the net effect of his Junkets the several you have taken? Spending millions traveling with his staff and expense accounts all on the backs of the Tico’s here. To spread goodwill and promote trade, what coffee and pineapples I guess and shark fins to the Asian market??

President Solis, Lead by example. Cut salaries , pensions, expense accounts, perks and consultants fees. Not by a miserable 3% someday in the future. Naw , I was only dreaming awaken to the nightmare of whats going on here.

Oh the USA not doing any better spending 3 billion a day and soon be at 20 Trillion in debt, Then Euro dollar in trouble look at Greece. Another depression soon maybe ?? I think so.

You are very right. The problem with Costa Rica is the elected official they think they work hard for the people. I love how if you serve in goverment you get a nice pension even if you serve 4 years you get a great pension. If the president of Costa Rica wants respect cut all elected pension by 100% and then see what will happen. If the goverment of Costa Rica does not change then Costa Rica will be the next Greece and IMF and World Bank will make the changes.

If he really wants to save money, I have some questions, why does a member of Congress who works for 4 yrs get a life time retirement, why do Ex Presidents make $14,0000 a month? Why do members of Congress get $200 a day for food.MR. Solis you think by cutting this out you can save a few dollars?Cut all benefits to Elected and Appointed officials, then audit ever one who has worked in the Government, the ones who have committed a felony,Take everything they have and execute them. THen the cost of Government will drop!If you need any more help call me!
