Been to Jaco lately? Not the prettiest of beaches to begin with. They need to get that one cleaned up before the touristas arrive. And quit burning trash in front of the hotels. Sometimes I think that they just don’t get a lot of things. IMO

Just like guns down kill, people do. Plastic isn’t the problem, it’s what people do with it once it served its purpose. Yes, Tico culture plays a part.

Good Idea, No chance it will be passed imo. Better idea would be to teach TICO’s to respect their environment. JMHO of course. When I walk the beach down in Zona Sur, I am amazed at how much “Crap” they will leave behind for someone else to pick up for them. Who do they think (LOL) is going to pick it up?
