It’s possible that it has nothing to do with an actual investigation since there would already be a paper trail of memos and coworkers that would know. How does someone get private info about something that is completely unknown? Maybe he was fishing for a bribe? Maybe this is part of some sordid sex triangle? Maybe someone wanted his job.There are too many possibilities to start pointing fingers.
But i’m sure it’s pretty quiet at the water cooler.

The fact that he was 60, and most likely a senior auditor should leave a small circle of people over top him to thoroughly investigate.
