Using a cell phone in Costa Rica
If you plan to visit
Costa Rica and you need a cell phone to stay in
contact with your office, business associates, family and friends – don’t bring your cell phone
with you!
Cell phone service in Costa Rica is provided by only
one carrier, ICE (Instituto Costarricense de
Electricidad) and your cell phone will not connect
to the ICE system unless you have made special
arrangements in advance of your trip.

Latinos Hope for Free
Trade
As the
United States wrapped up the first round of
trade negotiations last week with Colombia,
Ecuador, and Peru, some of Morris County's
Hispanic residents are hopeful that the
talks will lead to job growth and greater
markets for Latin-American goods.
Signing a free trade agreement with the
United States would guarantee "the access
(of products) from our countries without any
external barriers," said Beatriz Villada, a
past president of Dover's Club Colombia.
"To enter one of the greatest markets in the
world is a great step for Colombia."

Surf & Turf: Adventures in Costa Rica
As I looked over the lip of the cliff at the rest of my whitewater
rafting group, I contemplated the fact that that the nearest hospital
was a two-day trek through the jungle. I closed my eyes and pushed off
