Electrical Power Rationing To
Continue To Friday
The
unpredictable electrical power
cuts will continue today, as
they have been for the last few
days, as the Instituto
Costarricense de Electricidad
(ICE) struggles to get all its
electrical power generating
plants and stations online. The
power cuts also mean cuts in
water service, shutting down
electrical pumps.
Movement at the
Juan Santamaría
(San José)
airport was slow
this week as the
high tourist
season near.
Meanwhile
construction on
the completion
of the terminal
continues for
the coming
season to start
in November,
where airport
officials say
they will have
more gates and
double the
immigration and
customs areas to
handle the busy
