(HAS),

Travelling from San Jose to Santa Ana
on the carretera a Calera (autopista
Prospero Fernandez) will cost, beginning the
first week in May, ¢310 colones, each way.
To get to Piedades and Cuidad Colon, add
another ¢160 colones.
Authorities
Warn of Dangerous Propane Gas Without Smell
LPG or propane is commonly used in the
kitchens of homes and restaurants in Costa
Rica. The gas has an odour added to it so it
can be noticed in the case of a leak.
However, authorities have found a quantity
of the gas without the traditional odour,
which makes it risky.
