Prez Getting A New Ride
For his last days in office Costa Rica's
president, Oscar Arias, will be sporting a
brand spanking new official presidential
limo. The 2010 Hyundai Equus is being
donated by the government of Korea.

The Hyundai Equus will soon become the
new presidential car, donated by Korea, the
car is
expected to arrive in Costa Rica for
president Arias to break it in before he
hands over the keys
to president-elect Laura Chinchilla. We
don't believe the girls in the photo come
with
the car though.
The Hyundai replaces the Kia Opirus, also
donated by Korea.
The gift was accepted after a careful review
by the ministro de la Presidencia, Rodrigo
Arias, brother to Oscar.
The new car is already en route to Costa
Rica on April 20 and at Casa Presidencial
once it has cleared customs exoneration.
The Equus is Hyundai's flagship sedan, based
on a modified version of the Genesis sedan's
rear-wheel drive platform, crafted to rival
Mercedes, BMW, Lexus and the world's most
prestigious luxury automobiles.
The 2010 Hyundai Equus will be the most
advanced and expensive Hyundai ever.
