Police in
Guanacaste
report that they
caught a man "in
flagranti" (in
the act) having
sex with a dog.

in Santa
Cruz,
Guanacaste,
say the
witnessed
the man,
under a
bridge
of the
Diría
river
having
sexual
relations
with a
street
dog well
known in
the
area,
fed by
many of
the area
residents,
named "Camila".
The
police
report
says
that
officer
Ania
Gutiérrez
confirmed
reports
of a man
under a
bridge
acting
in a
strange
way,
that he
had the
dog, who
appeared
scared
and sad,
on his
legs
while
penetrating
her
without
stopping.
Ania was
accompanied
by three
male
officiers,
Valerio
Ramírez,
José
Canales
and
Tomás
Marchena,
and put
an end
to the
deviant
behaviour.
"We
detained
him and
charged
him with
an
unseemly
act",
said
officer
Gutiérrez
in her
report.

The officer also
noted that the
dog, Camila,
followed the man
to the police
patrol car,
walking behind
him as he was
escorted by
officers into
the vehicle.
