Venezuela President Meets
Cuba Peer and Fidel Castro
HAVANA - Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez
held talks with Cuban Revolution leader
Fidel Castro, and this country's statesman
Raul Castro.
During his dialogue with Fidel Castro, both
leaders analyzed several aspects of the
fruitful working relationship between the
two peoples, as well as other international
issues, Granma newspaper reported.
In his talk with Raul Castro, Chavez
examined the state of collaboration between
Cuba and Venezuela, and ways to develop
economic and social projects.
Chavez carried out on Thursday a working
visit to Cuba from Nicaragua, accompanied by
a government's delegation.
Before leaving Cuba, the South American head
of State, accompanied by Raul Castro, Cuban
leaders and the Venezuelan delegation,
visited a community under construction in
Playa municipality, where he held a lively
exchange with neighbors.
