Coverage
With the
installation of
an additional
215 radio
towers, the
Instituto
Costarricense de
Electricidad
(ICE), promises
to improve GSM
cellular
coverage in
Costa Rica.
Some of the
areas affected
with poor
service and the
installation of
more radio
towers are
Caldera, Punta
Leona, Los
Angeles, Los
Heroes, La
Fortuna de San
Carlos, Bajos
del Toro, Rio
Frio, El
Silencio de
Tilaran and
Hacienda Pinilla.
The state
telecom says it
is working at
producing a sold
cellular
network.
