MAG - Universal
Road Re-Opens
Today
Following a wait
of a year or so
and months of
delays, the MAG
- Universal,
will be opened
today.
The road,
although still
requiring
finishing
touches, will be
officially
re-opened in a
ceremony by
president, Oscar
Arias and MOPT
minister,
Francisco
Jiménez.
The road, an
important artery
taking traffic
to and from San
José, La Sabana
and Escazú, has
been completely
rebuilt and
widened.
The concrete
slab is expected
to last some 30
years.
