Escazú, Alajuelita and Desamparados Without Water On Saturday

If you live in Escazú centre, San Antonio de Escazú, Alajuelita or Desamparados, better stock on fresh water as the taps will be turned off tomorrow, Saturday, between 8am and 6pm.

The announcement by the Acueductos y Alcantarillados (AyA - water and sewer utility) said that some 100.000 people will be affected as the Compañía Nacional de Fuerza y Luz (CNFL - light and power company) turns off the juice for maintenance to its network, affecting the Puente de Mulas water pumping station.

In addition to no water, residents of Escazú will be without electrical power as well.
