Teletica's "Nace Una
Estrella" Enters Second Season
The success of television reality shows like
Latin American Idol has prompted Costa
Rica's local television station Teletica to
offer its own version for the local market,
"Nace una Estrella" (a star is born) which
is now casting for its second season.
Artists of all types have been lining up
since the early hours of Tuesday morning to
be one of the 150 allowed into the casting
studios for the day.
On stage presentations of acts from Michael
Jackson, Alicia Keys and Beyoncé take on a
Tico flavour, with a local interpretation.
