Prince of Qatar in
Costa Rica
Costa Rica each year receives "important"
visitors who chose Costa Rican beaches and
resorts for their vacations. The latest of
such visits is by the Prince of Qatar,
arriving at the Daniel Oduber Quirós in
Liberia, Guanacaste, shortly after 8pm.
Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani is
being accompanied by an entourage of at
least 60 people, the only guests who will be
staying at the exclusive Fours Seasons in
the Papagayo Peninsula.
A fleet of 26 Toyota Prado's were used to
transfer the prince and his entourage for
the 30 minute ride from the airport.
Aside from enjoying the hot sun and warm
waters of the Gulf of Papagayo, the Prince
is also expected to visit with Costa Rican
president, Oscar Arias, on Monday, where
they will sign cooperation agreements on
issues related to tourism, culture and a
memorandum of understanding on political
consultations.
It was not made clear where the meeting will
take place at the Fours Seasons or at the
Arias home in Rohrmoser, as has been
tradition with other important guests like
Mel Gibson and the United Arab Emirates
Prince Abdullah Zayed Al Nayanprince of the
Emirates, last October. |
