Among the Times' '31 Places to Go in 2010'
Costa Rica wins praise for its new Costa
Rican Bird Route, which highlights the
country's great avian diversity and natural
beauty, is one of the hot travel
destinations in the world, according to the
New York Times.
Colombia is back on the tourist map after a
history of unrest. The Jan. 10 article
in the Times Travel Section notes that the
Caribbean coastal city of Cartagena is a
UNESCO World Heritage Site and that Delta
Air Lines recently began nonstop service
between Atlanta and Bogota.
