Evacuated in El Salvador
SAN SALVADOR - At least 3,561 people remain
evacuated in El Salvador by rains associated
with Tropical Storm Alex, which left
hundreds of damaged homes and areas with
threats of landslides and mudslides.
According to Civil Protection authorities,
there are 43 centers fitted out to house the
homeless, who continue arriving at
evacuation sites, although the government
downgraded the alert orange to green after
the decrease in rainfall.
