America Northern Triangle
SAN SALVADOR - Statesmen and the business
higher echelons'' leadership of the
so-called Northern Central American Triangle
will meet on Monday in this capital to
review the regional integration process
development.
According to Salvadorian Presidential
Communication Secretary David Rivas, El
Salvador's President Mauricio Funes and his
peers from Guatemala and Honduras, Alvaro
Colom and Porfirio Lobo, respectively, will
attend the meeting.
The Panamanian business upper echelons'
leaders will also participate in the
meeting, according to the Salvadorian
National Private Business Association
Executive Director Raul Melara.
"One of the objectives is to tighten
diplomatic relations and reassert
undertakings and trade ties among the three
countries," he said.
Participants in the meeting will also speak
in favor of making progress in the process
of the regional customs association to
facilitate and encourage inter-regional
trade, said Melara. |
