Central American Attorneys Slam US Anti Immigration Law

ANTIGUA, GUATEMALA - Demands to abolish the US anti immigration law in Arizona now spread to Attorneys of Human Rights in Central America meeting in this city.

According to results released Friday they consider the law racist and discriminatory and will work towards a regional alliance against these kinds of laws since it could extend to other territories of the United States such as the proposal that was already presented in Rhode Island.

These defenders of the people also called to promote approval of a migratory reform in the United States.

Other resolutions issued condemning actions against journalists and the media such as homicides and discrimination of persons with HIV/AIDS.
