Lower Gasoline
Prices Possible
Next Month
Don't hold your
breath too long,
but there is a
good chance that
gasoline prices
will drop a
whopping ¢5
colones next
month.
The reduction is
based on a
number of
factors, one of
which is the
dollar exchange
rate.
The Autoridad
Reguladora de
Servicios
Públicos (Aresep)
is currently
processing the
price reduction,
that if
approved, would
take effect by
the middle of
June.
The reduction
would be ¢5
colones for a
litre of super
gasoline and ¢6
colones for
regular (or
plus), while
diesel fuel
prices will go
up ¢1 colon. |
