New Car Sales in
Costa Rica Shows
Signs Of
Recovery
Auto sales in
Costa Rica have
picked up in the
first months of
2010, as
consumer
confidence
increases. The
president of the
Cámara
Automotriz, José
Carballo, said
the industry is
showing signs of
recovery.
The Cámara
Automotriz said
that new car
sales between
January and
April this year
is up 15% over
last year.
The market study
took in sales
figures from
auto retailers
like Grupo Q
that sells
Hyundai and
Chevrolet and
Purdy Motor, the
Toyota dealer in
Costa Rica,
among other new
car dealers.
According to the
figures, the
Hyundai is the
best selling new
car in Costa
Rica, followed
by Toyota. |
