Docks At
Moín Can
Now
Receive
Larger
Ships
Dredging
work an
the
docks in
Moín, in
the
province
of Limón
was
completed
on
Thursday.
The
docks
can now
receive
larger
freighter
ships.
The Moín
docks
are
primarily
used by
oil
tankers
making
deliveries
to the
Refinadora
Costarricense
de
Petróleo
(Recope),
the
state
refinery,
that
said the
large
ship
size
means
lower
trip
frequency
which in
turns
brings
down
costs.
The
dredging
cost was
us$13.8
million
dollars.
