some
residents
away
from
the
Turrialba
volcano,
located
west
of
the
capital,
after
it
spewed
toxic
gas
and
ash,
signs
of a
potentially
imminent
eruption.
The
Turrialba
volcano
is
located
about
65
kilometres
from
San
José
began
a
series
of
eruptions
in
2007.
The
CNE
has
elevated
the
alert
to "amarillo"
(yellow),
the
middle
three
warning
levels.
