The Apple iPhone 4G
On the heels of Sprint's announced last week
of its 4G smarphone, Steve Jobs, the CEO of
Apple, made the announcement of iPhone 4G on
Tuesday. However, as in typical Apple
marketing strategy, the actual phone won't
be available to consumers for a while.
The new iPhone 4G Cannot Be Used in
Costa Rica

Apple has set a release date of June 24th.
For now customers have to conform to making
a pre-order for the handset that according
to Apple, the iPhone 4G changes everything.
Again.
The online store of Apple would be taking
pre orders for Apple iPhone 4G from 15th of
June.
And the best of all is that the iPhone 4G
will sell for only $199, which also pushes
down the price of the iPhone 3G to only $99.
These prices are only in the US and with a
plan.
Outside the US, like in Costa Rica the 3Gs
sells for starting at $1.100, fully unlocked
and with plan commitments.
However, the hype of the 4G will be lost in
Costa Rica, since the phone uses a "micro
SIM card" instead of the common SIM card to
activate the telephony, a SIM that is not
available in Costa Rica and unlikely that
ICE will bring out until a majority of the
smartphones adopt it.
