PRD Reigns in Panama
Governing PRD
(Democratic
Revolutionary Party,
centre-left political
party of Panama) was the

impact on enrollments in
the country after a
massive process of
registration, leaders of
the organization
confirmed Monday.
This event took place on
Sunday all around the
nation and PRD managed
to obtain 55,000 031
number of people,
according to a
preliminary report the
number of affiliates
nears 650,000.
That amount exceeds the
number of people
registered in the five
parties of opposition,
which amount to 590,000
members, according to La
Prensa paper.
PRD Secretary General
and President of the
Republic Martin Torrijos
announced Sunday night
the reports of zones of
difficult access are not
included yet, thus the
number will have a
slight increase.
PRD had enrolled 588,362
