The Honduran National
Congress restarts
Tuesday the debate on
the Tele-Communications
Law, to be approved
before the end of
October.
The legislation was
retired from that entity
on October 1 due to its
rejection by several
political, economic and
social sectors.
Denominated the
framework law of the
telecommunication and
information technology
sector, the initiative
is part of exigencies
from the International
Monetary Fund to sign a
new accord with this
country.
The Decision Commission
responsible for
listening technical
opinions within the
private company and
telecommunication
operators already showed
the report to members of
the directive board and
parliamentary group's
chiefs.
The government aims to
include in the document
the strengthening of the
state Honduran
Tele-Communication
Company and reduce the
so-called grey traffic
