Rainy Season Is Here Despite Weekend Lack of Rain
Despite the fact that rainy season has officially started in the Central Valley, the weekend was pretty dry, with lots of sunshine Sunday afternoon and some scattered rain and lighting in the east end.

The national weather service - the Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN) - assures that the rainy season is on and that its full effects will be felt by the middle of the week.

A low pressure system over the Caribbean and Pacific was responsible for unstable conditions throughout the Central Valley and mid Pacific. Low pressure systems are evidence of the start of the rainy reason.

The next couple of days will be more of the weekend weather, but come Wednesday the IMN says we will see typical rainy season weather - hot sunny mornings, followed by heavy rain in the afternoon and cool nights.
