NICOYA, COSTA RICA – September 14th, 2012 -The Costa Rican Social Security (CCSS) branch in Nicoya, Guanacaste, will be demolished due to the damages that it suffered from the earthquake on September 5th.
Danilo Monge Guillen, director of Special Projects for CCSS, stated that according to the inspection, the building suffered catastrophic damage to its infrastructure.
The Legislative Assembly also approved yesterday a motion to make finding a building site for a new hospital in Puntarenas a priority.
