Police intercept busload of illegal Cuban migrants in La Cruz, 7km from Nicaragua border

September 25th, 2015 (ICR News) Police officers intercepted a bus carrying 44 illegal Cuban migrants in La Cruz, Guanacaste, about 7km from the border with Nicaragua, on Thursday.
The Cubans, who were not carrying passports, said they had entered the country near Paso Canoas, on the border with Panama, and were headed north through Nicaragua, presumably on their way to the United States.
The bus driver, a Costa Rican national, was taken into custody on charges of human trafficking.
